Ceramics Instructor
Hi, I’m Amor, or you can call me Moi. I’m a Filipino migrant, a mum to two amazing boys who are my constant love and inspiration, and a passionate Registered Nurse with certifications in Art Therapy.
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to creative expression—whether through illustrating, singing, or music. These crafts have always been a part of me, from school journals to musicals, offering an outlet for my self-expression and joy.
Professionally, I’ve dedicated the last 18 years to nursing, specializing in various areas with a deep passion for caring for both the elderly and children. My journey as a nurse has been as fulfilling as it has been demanding, and it was this balance that eventually led me back to my first love: the arts.
At Mois Art Studio, I combine my clinical expertise, experience and my love for pottery , crafts and teaching to design an inclusive space, community-based workshops that nurture self-expression, mental well-being and cultural celebration. From creative and therapeutic art sessions , NDIS and seniors programme and family-friendly classes, we are committed to making art accessible and meaningful to everyone.
Rooted in respect, safety, culture, and diversity, Mois Art Studio fosters connection, resilience, and healing through the transformative power of creativity.
Painting Instructor
Hi! I'm a painting instructor with several years experience across a variety of roles. I started my career as a primary teacher which led me to the opportunity to teach art in schools. My love of abstract art stemmed from teaching kids' classes as the intention and expressions were so free and fun. I enjoyed it so much that I deviated from teaching children and expanded my practice to include adult workshops. I want to encourage adults to tap into their playful side by embracing art that is free of restraints and expectations, and full of colour and expression

Tahlia was born and raised in Tasmania, but has called Melbourne home now for over 20 years. From a young age, Tahlia has always had a deep-seated passion for creativity. She immersed herself in various artistic pursuits, leading her to studies in photography and screen printing.
In her ceramic works, Tahlia infuses a sense of playfulness and fun. She enjoys both wheel throwing and hand building and has a particular interest in underglaze decorating and sgraffito work.
Tahlia draws much of her inspiration from childhood memories and children's novels. This distinct style is at the heart of her small business, Little Box Of Chaos, where she continues to explore and expand her creative horizons.
Mandala Instructor
I am a mandala dot artist, deeply inspired by the intricate beauty of nature and sacred geometry. My artistic journey began as a way to explore mindfulness and meditation through creative expression, and over time, it evolved into a dedicated passion for the art of dot painting. Each piece I create is a reflection of my personal connection to balance, harmony, and the transformative energy of the universe.
Using tiny, deliberate dots, I build up patterns that create a sense of rhythm and flow, guiding the viewer’s eye through the design while evoking a calming, meditative experience. My work often incorporates elements from sacred geometry, nature’s forms, and symbols from diverse cultures, blending them into a harmonious visual language. Every mandala I create is unique, a fusion of precision and spontaneity, designed to promote inner peace and encourage a deeper connection to one’s self.
Through my art, I aim to offer a space of reflection and tranquility, where the viewer can pause, breathe, and find clarity. I believe that mandalas hold powerful healing properties, offering a visual representation of the interconnectedness of life, the universe, and our own consciousness. Whether displayed in a home, studio, or meditation space, my pieces are created with the intention of fostering balance, healing, and personal growth.
